Manufacturing Defects

If the barrier panel separates, delaminates, or fails at the seam under normal wear and washing, contact us and we'll replace the garment.

Wear it under your dress shirt exactly like the undershirt you already own — the barrier is sewn into the underarm, so there's nothing to insert, peel, or replace. Sweat is absorbed and held at the panel instead of passing through into the outer layer, which is the layer everyone actually sees. The rest of the shirt is open mesh, so heat keeps escaping while the underarm stays sealed.

Most sweat-proof shirts build the whole garment heavy to get the barrier, so you trade wet marks for feeling hot all day. This one zones it — mesh through the body and chest, sealed panel only where sweat shows.

Won't an extra layer just make me hotter?
That's the objection this shirt was built around. Only the underarm panel is sealed — the body and chest are open mesh, so air keeps moving instead of getting trapped against your skin. Most customers report it runs cooler than the standard cotton undershirt they were already wearing.

Will the pad show through my dress shirt?
The barrier is sewn flat into the underarm seam rather than added as a separate insert, so there's no raised edge to print through. Under a fitted or light-coloured shirt it reads as a plain undershirt. If you can see it through your shirt, send it back within 30 days.

I sweat a lot. Will it actually hold?
The panel absorbs and contains liquid rather than wicking it outward. That distinction matters — athletic moisture-wicking fabrics move sweat to the surface faster, which is exactly why they make visible marks worse. This keeps it held at the underarm instead.

Does it survive the wash?
The barrier is sewn into the garment, not glued or slipped in, so it doesn't peel, shift, or fall out over time. Machine wash and tumble dry with the rest of your laundry — follow the care label and it holds its shape. If the panel fails at the seam under normal washing, we'll replace it.

How is this different from the sweat-proof shirts I've already tried?
Most of them build the entire garment heavy in order to get the barrier, which is why they feel like wearing a second jacket. This one is zoned: sealed only at the underarm, open mesh everywhere else. You get the block without carrying the weight and heat across your whole torso.

Do I still need deodorant?
Yes — this handles what shows, not what you smell, so keep using whatever deodorant you like. Plenty of customers do drop clinical aluminium antiperspirants once sweat stops showing, which has a side benefit: aluminium salts reacting with sweat are what turn dress shirt underarms stiff and yellow in the first place.
